Donuts as Rewards

I once read about a large family that would reward their children with a small treat for some big accomplishments.  I loved the idea because it gives the children special one on one time with me as well as the treat.  So when Kyle learned to tie his shoes, I took him to the donut shop of his choice: Dunkin' Donuts.

A couple of days later, Avalyn chose Dunkin' Donuts for her treat because she finished reading the Chronicles of Narnia series.
