Kyle is now 7!

Kyle's favorite bird is a penguin.  So he requested a penguin cake for his birthday.  Thanks to Pinterest, I was able to find a design that I thought I could manage.  I love to make the kids special cakes for their birthdays, but I am always nervous about actually decorating them!  Fortunately this one went really well!  I am really pleased with how it turned out, though I only realized that I made the little guy cross-eyed after I looked at the pictures.

 After cake, icecream, and presents, we let the kids play with sparklers for a few minutes.  They all enjoyed that, and even Mercy had fun and didn't burn herself!
