Now before you say that Zoo Atlanta isn't a park, let me explain. Our family has the Family Adventure pass to the zoo. That means at the 6th month visit, we get free ride passes for any zoo visits for the rest of the year! As we and the Presley's were getting ride passes this month, we decided to make a day of it and just do all the activities.
First the kids played on the playground while I fed Patrick. They love the 4 way see-saw.
Then we headed to the merry-go-round and the train.
Next the kids ran to the splash pad! I am not sure, but I think they love a good splash pad more than a swimming pool!
This is my favorite picture from the splash pad, too bad it is of my sister's daughter, and not mine!
Mercy was finished. Doesn't she look cute when she is soaking wet?!
When the kids had enough of playing in the water, we ate lunch at the tables near the splash pad. After the kids had devoured all the food, they decided it was time for the canopy climber and the rock climbing wall.
Sophia doesn't weigh enough to rock climb, so she had a great time climbing the canopy climber and sliding down over and over again.
Avalyn and Kyle climbed together.
Keira took a turn at rock climbing after trying the canopy climber.
Mercy was too little for both the canopy climber and the rock climbing, so she entertained herself with the fencing around the climbers!
The zoo made a great destination park day. The kids had a wonderful time doing many things that they don't normally get to do.
